President: Marilyn Sanford
Marilyn is a Founding Member and Past President of CEDIA Canada (Custom Electronic Designers & Installers Association). She is an active industry advocate who participates on CEDIA boards and instructs at CEDIA expos. Marilyn Co-founded Smart fx in 1993, one of Vancouver's first custom install firms. Marilyn brings over 25 years of diverse business management to the La Scala team.

Jacinta Chan
Jacinta brings a meticulous nature and strong organizational and Accounting skills to the firm. She also speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, French and English fluently.

Glorie Averbach
Glorie has 15 years experience in Custom Electronics both in the United States and Canada. After beginning her industry career in Sales with a Canadian national retail chain, Glorie turned her attention to the Custom Installation Industry, where she filled the role of general manager over eight years with two separate firms. Over four of these years Glorie was fundamental to a successful start-up operation in Dallas. She then turned her talents to organization and accountability, doubling the revenues for a second firm. Glorie has a deep passion for the business and an enthusiasm for the team environment that accompanies it.

Client Representative: Kevin Hall
Kevin became interested in creating custom systems while working in car audio and took that experience and passion to the residential custom installation industry in 1996. From 2000-2004, Kevin developed and ran the Custom Installation Department for a national retail chain. Since joining La Scala, Kevin has participated as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on CEDIA's Certification Council for the creation of the Canadian Designer and Installer certifications. Kevin excels at listening to clients and developing solutions that bring elegance and simplicity to their homes, and his projects have received national and international recognition including CEDIA's 2009 Best Large Home Theatre.
Client Representative: Patrick Tasci
Patrick's experience spans 1986 to present and includes: Broadcast Electronic Service for the CBC, Live Music Engineering and Playhouse Theatre and Studio Sound System installations. Patrick was Designer of the 2000 CEDIA Canada's Best Dedicated Home Theatre. With several published designs, Patrick is often requested as a guest speaker to the build/design community and has managed projects globally.
Client Representative: Darryl Coan
Darryl began in the Home Electronics industry in 1991. Over the years he has honed his skills in design, sales, and installation of custom home entertainment systems. He believes that the enjoyment of art, music and cinema can improve quality of life; he enjoys designing attractive, reliable, and easy-to-use solutions for clients. The personal interaction with his clientele, and the satisfaction of delivering a high quality finished product are highly rewarding for Darryl.

Project Manager: Shawn Allen
Shawn comes to La Scala with a diverse background in electronics, construction, and sales management experience. After coming to the company as a technician, Shawn moved up to the Project Management position with ease, as he brings a bent for problem solving and a meticulous nature to the La Scala team. Always wanting to expand his career and knowledge base, Shawn is currently working towards getting his certificate in Project Management though UBC.

Chris Eloranta
Chris joined La Scala after several years as both a technician and Project Manager working for Magnolia HiFi. Chris is a detail oriented individual, bringing his passion for music and his bent for doing it right to the team. Chris is a professional musician, who loves creating great results whether jamming with a team of musicians or a passionate group of Industry colleagues.
Customer Service / Assistant Project Manager: Heather Sanford
Joining the La Scala team, with 5 years of experience in customer service from a variety of fields, Heather brings her experience dealing with Service and client support into Logistics where she makes sure the backend details are all taken care of. She enjoys the interaction with both clients and her teammates, while at the same time working towards her degree at Simon Fraser University.
Programmer / New Product Development: Kristopher Rinehart
Kristopher worked in the car audio and electronics fields before pursuing his interest in Robotics and Automation at BCIT--going on to win 2nd place in a Sumo Robot Contest. An integral part of the La Scala team since 2000, Kristopher has developed skills and expertise in many disciplines including technical installation, project management, systems programming and R&D.
Programmer: Andre Bouchard
As a certified AMX Programmer and Designer, Andre is responsible for programming La Scala's installations. Andre has been with the Company since leaving UBC and is a sharp, decisive thinker and a talented programmer. Andre's programming experience began in 2000, training under the Company programmer at that time. He moved to full time programmer in 2003 and has clocked in excess of 4000 hours of programming in jobs ranging from one to five processors and up to twenty touch screen panels.
Service Technician: Gary Wang
Gary brings deep and diverse knowledge to La Scala. Launching his career with a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Gary has worked as an Electrical Engineer, 'grounding' his knowledge with twelve years of board level electronics experience. Gary then moved to Sound Perfection out of Menlo Park in California where he did high level work as an Installer and Programmer for four years. When Gary came to Canada he worked on sea going and landlocked residences as an Installer, Designer and Programmer for three years.
Technician: Josh Wright
Josh joined La Scala after a stint in the Broadcasting Industry where he wired complex and extensive systems that required meticulous attention to detail. Josh graduated from the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound with his Masters in Recording Arts certificate. Josh is also ISF certified. In addition to several years in the Audio Video Industry prior to his Broadcast experience, Josh brings his passion for music. Josh plays drums in a community Jazz ensemble and claims to have great 'ears'.
